Beneath Hubris is an interactive installation by the Enosis Collective for the Cycladic Biennale 2026. Two participants wear heart-rate sensors, and when their rhythms synchronize, water flows through a central vessel.
Using Raspberry Pi technology, we measure Phase-Locking Value (PLV) between heartbeats in real-time. When coherence is detected, a water pump activates, symbolizing shared energy.
Our initiative to help people understand themselves through interactive platforms. By making internal states visible — heart rate, breath, coherence — we create spaces for self-reflection and connection.
